Situated along the iconic Great Ocean Road, our Coastal House offers unbridled views over stunning Separation Creek/Wye River and rugged coastline, while abutting the pristine Otways National Park.

The Concept.

Our goal was to open our Coastal House to the vastness of the Southern Ocean, and the archetypal beauty of the landscape in which the house sits, through each & every room.

Upstairs is the entertaining space with a wide-open & fully appointed kitchen which overlooks the adjacent nature reserve, dining & open fire. In keeping with our goal, there is a spectacularly large veranda, perfect for taking in the incredible views while sipping on a G&T.

Downstairs is a private retreat for each guest, with three boutique hotel-style rooms. Our Coastal House can sleep up to 4 guests across 2 private rooms. Our Coastal House offers ‘democratic’ private bedrooms, all with identical proportions, king-sized beds, luxury linen, separate bathrooms & stunning floor-to-ceiling ocean views. No need to draw straws!

Mary responded within minutes to any questions we had. The birds, the view and the location were all perfect. If you are looking for an upmarket stay that is also homely but feels like a 5star hotel then this is the place. We will definitely be back."

From the amazingly stocked larder, to the beautiful plates. Lots of great walks and beaches within a short driving distance. Only thing to be aware of is the ensuite is glass and open, however there is a separate toilet upstairs."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Our stay at Months and Seasons Separation Creek exceeded our expectations. The home is immaculate! Everything was so well thought out and easily laid out for us. It was literally a home away from home in its comfort, furnishings and amenities. There is nothing quite like falling asleep and waking up to the sound of those white water views! Having a stocked bar cart to relax to after a long day of travel was a lovely touch. We also enjoyed some of the best coffee on our trip with the fabulous Rocket Appartamento espresso machine available to us. Comfortable beds, with fine linens rounded out the poshness of this beautiful home. We look forward to our next stay there soon!"

Our Coastal House offers boutique hotel-style accommodation, which sleeps up to 4 guests across 2 private rooms. No matter how many people you book for, you will have exclusive use of the house.

Our house offers 2 ‘democratic’ private bedrooms, both with identical proportions and features, and each with separate bathrooms.

Booking for 1-2 guests means access to 1 x king-sized guest room (1 bedroom will remain closed).
Booking for 3-4 guests means access to 2 x king-sized guest rooms (both bedrooms will be open).

While we have a house manager a call away should you need anything, we offer a simple self-check-in, a comprehensive house guide and local activity tips.

Generally, we are a pet-free house. However, if you have a small dog, please contact us to discuss before you book.
